And let the dry heaving commence!

I knew today was not going to go well when I had to make a quick dash for a patch of grass as soon as Carter, Miles, and I drove over to the campus for breakfast.

My suspicions that the day would be full of sickness were confirmed when, after only 3 bites of my breakfast, I had to run down the hall to the bathroom.

Yeah, this is totally not fun.

I don't remember early morning sickness with Miles, not until around 9 weeks or so. I thought I would get lucky this time and coast for a while. Apparently not.

I hate having to decide if it's worth it to go to the bathroom and try to vomit. I'm always afraid there will be an offensive odor lingering in the bathroom that will make my sickness even worse.

I guess I should count myself lucky that I have people around to help with the diapers. I had to leave the room earlier when Brandon changed a particularly stinky dipe.

I found a great steal at the Grandview Outlet yesterday - a Be Band maternity band for $5!  Two days ago, my jeans starting feeling uncomfortable (due to bloating), and since I didn't think to pack the maternity band I have from last time (which is white, so now I have 2 in different colors), I'm all set.  Today I also got this cute maternity skirt, for $8 at HayMart in Grayson, which has JC Penney returns merchandise.  It's in perfect condition, still has tags on it.  I really don't plan to purchase many maternity clothes this time - only a few pairs of the Secret Fit Belly pants from Motherhood Maternity and/or Kohl's, but from some place like Once Upon A Child. I'm determined to never pay full price for anything again.

I also couldn't resist getting 2 pairs of little socks like these because they were 50 cents a piece. Probably silly since we might have a girl, but oh well. They can go in my "Gifts To Give" drawer at home.

I think Brandon is really wanting to have a girl this time around. Already today I've heard him say something about "having a girl" at least twice. I believe the words "matching set" were uttered :-)

While Miles is napping, I should really take the opportunity to catch a few minutes of shut eye as well. I believe we might go to Smokey's tonight (Jen, if you're reading this, I think your husband and his fellas are meeting us there), and if I don't get a nap, there's no way I'll make it.
