Professional Ponderings

I need to figure out a way to make some extra money for our family.  It's not in desperation, we're doing okay, even with the medical bills and taxes coming our way.  I just want that to continue.

I'm perusing the Classifieds in the local papers hoping something magical will spring up, but so far, nothin'.  I wish I were creative enough and had some great talent that would somewhat support our family, but I don't.  I'm not crafty, I don't do anything extremely well...

One thing I've considered is starting a cleaning business, but I'm afraid it would eat up too much time.  I might be able to find a partner, someone who also wants some very part-time work, to share the work.  Here's how much of a business person I am NOT - as I thought about this, I thought "But what if there's some other woman in our town who is trying to do the same thing?  I don't want to steal her clients!"

I don't want to go back to full-time work.
