Today, I'm thinking and worrying about our carseats in the Jeep.
I've become kinda paranoid about car seat safety in the past year. That's why Miles is still rear-facing and will be for a long time. When we have enough money, we'll be buying a convertible seat that allows even longer rear-facing.
Anyway, today I started thinking more about needing to install the infant car seat sometime soon so that it is ready. Thinking about that made me think about how the seats will be arranged (Spencer in the middle, Miles behind the passenger seat).
I'm not ready for him to be that close to the side of the car! I keep seeing images of side-impact car crashes running through my head. Statistically, I know that the passenger side is less likely to be hit in a crash, and he is so much safer being rear-facing, no matter which back seat he is in. But that isn't making it any easier on me. I wish I could stack them both in the middle!
I'm ultra-hormonal today, can you tell??
