Words

I need to make a list of the words that Miles can say at almost 17 months old, so here we go:

• Dad (not Daddy, not Dada, Dad.)
• Mama
• Dog
• Kitty
• More
• Cheese
• Banana (you have to listen and watch closely for it, but it's there)
• Bow (Bauer, one of our dogs)
• Mon (Monk, the other dog)
• Ball
• Blow

These are the words he signs:

• Milk
• More
• All Done
• Light

And this is what he does when he sees candles (or anything that looks remotely like a candle)!

He said "more" extremely clearly today.  What did he want more of?  A chocolate chip cookie :-)

We've moved Miles's bedtime to 7:30pm after about a week of screaming fits at bedtime.  Until he is speaking more, that's his way of letting us know something needs to change.

And finally, this is a few weeks late, but this kid is totally digging "The Itsy Bitsy Spider."  I need to get some video of it.  He does the motions and everything.  I love it.
